Exploring the Mystery of My Grandfather's Undelivered Letter

Tracing one's ancestry often means embarking on a journey as Family Detective, Historian, Genealogist, Information Architect and Curator.

By collecting, organizing, translating and assembling "evidence" from Grandfather's life, I will solve a crucial mystery from 1917 and attempt to re-connect my American family with my Bohemian family of origin in Russia and the Czech Republic.

It won't be easy to transcend barriers of language, politics, distance and time. But with modern-day methods of connecting, I hope to find my grandfather's family overseas and finally deliver the letter he had written to our Great-Grandparents in Russia -- nearly a century ago.
